Dalston Eastern Curve Community Garden’s landscape architecture London
Dalston Eastern Curve Community Garden is on the site of a railway line that had been derelict for half a century. J&L Gibbons landscape architects worked with muf/architecture on looking for underused space in Hackney. They found the site and won community support for making a garden 2007-10. The project won a Hackney Design Award in 2010 and the Landscape Institute’s President’s Award in 2011, and a Sustain Magazine 2010 Public Realm award in 2010.
