What regulation was used to remove the President of the Landscape Institute?
LI Regulation 21.5 – and it is repugnant to the Landscape Institute’s Royal Charter
The depth of the mess the Landscape Institute is now in makes an Independent Inquiry a necessity:
- it has no President and is therefore in breach of its Royal Charter
- it wasted the equivalent of a year’s income from registered practices (£170k) on lawyer’s fees
- it is leaderless and unable to lead the landscape profession
- due process was not followed in dealing with the first of two Whistleblowing Disclosures made in 2022
- the second Whistleblowing Disclosure made in 2022 has not been investigated
